With the rapid development of China's mobile short video industry,government agencies have broken the original mode of communication and actively occupied the "hot land" of mobile short video platform.The public security organs have become the leader in the system of the government on Tik Tok with its unique institutional nature and keen market sense.The article uses content analysis and case analysis to explore and remind the attention of many problems in public security short videos on Tik Tok.The study found that the short-sound video of the public security organizations on Tik Tok has problems such as low originality,high repetition between accounts,and prominent negative tendencies in the distribution;in terms of communication form,more than 40% of the videos are long and mostly adopted to a single form of video + background music;in terms of operational strategy,the positioning concept is backward,the features are vague,the push timing misses the user's attention peak,and the “punch-type” operation and the lack of online and offline interactions are prominent.In terms of communication ethics,there are infringements such as leaking privacy and infringing original copyrights;lack of humanistic care such as low language banter,bloody violence,and lack of dangerous tips;and lack of factual material,endless appearance of the staged videos,etc.In response to the above problems,the article proposes to improve and perfect from the perspectives of adhering to people-oriented,advocating differentiated operations,improving originality and cultivating professional talents,and providing some targeted suggestions for public security organs in China to better use Tik Tok to conduct government communication.
