With the rapid development of the current era,the speed of the transfer of township labor to cities has accelerated, and the number of migrant workers has increased. In order to obtain more economic income,a large number of rural people poured into the city to work. While promoting urban construction, the number of personal and family problems that migrant workers need to solve is increasing, especially the education of their children. The state and society attach great importance to the education of left-behind children in rural areas and children in cities. This article uses Yantai City as a research base to analyze the factors affecting the children of migrant workers entering the city, and help the government to help the families of migrant workers. The overall migration provides a basis for promoting social and school education from different perspectives, and provides constructive advice for rural residents to care for left-behind children, and provides targeted assistance to families of migrant workers. So far,the literature on left-behind children and children who are moving with them has mainly focused on the academic, health, and gender aspects of left-behind children.Very few documents have been studied from the perspective of parents.Apart from objective factors, parents’ willingness is very large. It determines whether the children are moving or not. Therefore, this paper takes the left-behind children and the parents of the children who are moving with the children as the survey object, and conducts research through questionnaires. The form of the questionnaire is mainly divided into four parts:First, personal factors, including children and parents;second, economic factors;third, family factors;fourth, social policies and institutions. This paper uses logistic regression analysis to study the influencing factors of the children moving into the city. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: On the individual side, the higher the mother’s educational level, the more likely the child is to move. The longer the parents go out to work, the shorter the working hours per day,and the more likely their children are to move. The younger the child, the poorer the academic performance, the greater the possibility of moving with it;In terms of economic factors,if parents have higher incomes for migrant workers, their children may move larger. When children have higher study and living expenses, they are less likely to move;In terms of family factors, there are stable residences outside, and children are more likely to move with them;In terms of the social system, there are many preferential policies for the children who move in and out of the place, and the possibility of moving with them is high. The migrant workers understand that the real-time nature of the local policy system has a significant impact on their children’s follow-up.Based on the above research results, put forward targeted recommendations.
