Around the end of World War II,on the basis of the victory of the anti-fascist war,the countries of the world have jointly created an international order and its corresponding international system centered on the United Nations and based on the Charter of the United Nations. This order and system takes the maintenance of international peace and security as the main goal, takes the eradication of the root causes of aggression such as militarism as prerequisite, takes the United Nations Charter as the cornerstone of international law, takes the big countries cooperation and big countries consistency under the collective security mechanism as basic guarantees, effectively protecting the rights and interests of small and weak nations and promote peace and development to the world. However, the interplay of power politics and monopoly capital after World War II had a destructive effect on the above-mentioned international order and the international system,so that the huge gap between the elite and the masses, rich and poor countries together constituted the basic picture of the long-term variation of the international order after the war.Specifically,1945-1973 was a period in which power politics played a leading role,1973-1991 was a period in which monopoly capital overlapped with power politics, and 1991-present was a period in which monopoly capital played a dominant role.Under the mutual control of great power and monopoly capital,on the one hand, developing countries are frequently violated, and it is difficult to achieve stable development. On the other hand, developed countries themselves have been backfired, and social rifts have continued to expand, eventually leading to a variety of counter-ideas and resistance movements such as non-alignment,populism,and even terrorism against power and capital, make the complex nature of the ever-changing post-war international order become more prominent.More importantly, the emerging developing countries represented by China adhere to independence, constitute a powerful and effective double check on power and capital, and strive to reform the distorted and disrupted international order and push its transformation towards the purposes and the principle of the Charter of the United Nations.
