Research On The Construction Of China’s International Discourse Power Since The Eighteenth National Congress Of The CPC

International discourse power as a strategic goal and an important indicator to measure the comprehensive national strength has become the sovereignty to compete in the international community.After 18th of CPC,Xi Jinping co-ordinate the overall situation of domestic and foreign two based on the Chinese system,Chinese road and Chinese theory practice,using "home diplomacy" tells the Chinese story in international activities and important the foreign affairs occasions.Nevertheless,China’s international discourse power is still in a state of imbalance with its strength.After the 18th of the CPC,the central collective leadership has made great efforts to build international discourse power with Chinese identity,which will further enhance the image of China,and expand China’s influence and deterrence in the international society.International discourse power is an important guarantee to shape the image of the great power of the country and promote the national influence.With the international discourse power,we can participate in the formulation of international issues on the basis of their own interests,the evaluation of international rules and order,and the development of international public opinion,so as to better safeguard the interests of the state.This paper is based on the 18th as the time span for the study of the text,using the literature research,comparative chart analysis and other methods of general secretary Xi Jinping’s speech presentation analysis,to explore China’s international discourse power on the issue of public space,hasa certain practical significance.In this paper,the elements of international discourse power are divided into five parts:discourse subject,discourse content,discourse object,discourse platform and discourse feedback,and also discusses the necessity of constructing China international discourse power,the practice of constructing the international discourse power in China.After the 18th of the CPC,Xi Jinping took a series of measures to improve China’s national image and international discourse power,however,China still faces the imbalance of the right of discourse in the international society,"the west is strong and the East is weak",and the bias of the western countries to China.In response to these challenges facing China’s international discourse,from the two aspects of hard power and soft power,this paper puts forward the path choice of constructing China’s international discourse power and improving the China’s discourse environment:on the one hand to do the economic and trade cooperation,on the other hand to do the "media communication"and "personnel training".
