Evidence information,as a bridge connecting physical evidence and evidence facts,is the most interdisciplinary field of natural science within the legal framework.Paint is the most common and important trace evidence at the scene of a traffic accident, and the evidence information it carries plays a key role in determining the suspected vehicle. At present, the combination of FTIR and SEM/EDS is the main paint detection method in China. However, the white car paint is difficult to be effectively distinguished due to its own composition. The current research shows that the analysis of the information in the Raman spectrum can achieve the differentiation of TiO2types.However,the evidence information obtained from the Raman spectrum still cannot distinguish the white paint containing the same type of TiO2.There is a bottleneck in the mining technology of the evidence information in the white car paint material evidence. Therefore, the paper bases on the empirical research methods such as multivariate statistical analysis, and explores the effective extraction method of the evidence information of the white car paint. The empirical research integrates the qualitative methods of the social sciences and the quantitative methods of the natural sciences, and is the method most suitable for studying evidence information in methodology.Mathematical analysis methods such as multivariate statistical analysis are the most important empirical research methods in the field of law,but they have not been fully applied in the field of evidence science, especially in the study of evidence information.Empirical research based on white car paint and information mining methods based on multivariate statistical analysis are expected to solve the problem of evidence information bottleneck in the field of forensic science. All samples used in the experiment were from various accident parking lots in Beijing.Subsequently, the paper optimized the pretreatment methods of embedding, slicing, tableting, polishing and other white car paint samples, and carried out microscopic observations and Raman spectroscopy tests on the car paint samples respectively to obtain a variety of analytical data.In addition, the paper focuses on the characteristic peaks of the fingerprint area that have not been fully studied in the Raman spectrum, based on multivariate statistical analysis, explores the evidence information corresponding to the aforementioned unknown characteristic Raman spectrum peaks, and attempts to establish a new method for mining evidence information of white car paint And compare it with traditional white car paint inspection methods such as microscopic image analysis and Raman spectrogram analysis, etc. Finally, the paper systematically sorted out the significance of statistical analysis on evidence information mining from forensic science and evidence law.The results show that Raman spectroscopy can effectively distinguish trace components in the white car paint, and stable and distinguishable peaks appear in the region of 950 cm-1 to 1100 cm-1.A good result of mathematical analysis was obtained by using multivariate statistical analysis. There is a clear difference between the results of multivariate statistical analysis and the traditional white paint experimental results, indicating that different methods have different capabilities for digging evidence information.Multivariate statistical analysis can help forensic scientists to dig more evidence information. In addition, multivariate statistical analysis has also improved the methodology of evidence law from a methodological perspective. The research results of the paper confirm the significance and importance of multivariate statistical methods and empirical research methods for evidence information mining. The paper focuses on the trace components in the white car paint that is not fully studied at present, the multivariate statistical analysis is used on the basis of the traditional analysis method to interpret the test results. At the same time,it introduces the concept of evidence information, innovatively applies empirical research methods to the study of evidence information, and discusses the significance of multivariate statistical analysis from the two dimensions of forensic science and evidence law.It is expected that the research content of the paper can play a demonstrative role for the follow-up research and make it effective.
