Research On The Influence Of Social Capital On Grass-Roots Consultative Democracy

Socialist consultative democracy with Chinese characteristics is a unique form and advantage of socialist democracy with Chinese characteristics,and an important embodiment of the mass line of the Communist Party of China in the political field.To give full play to the advantages of consultative democracy of socialism with Chinese characteristics is an important link in the modernization of national governance system and governance capacity.As an important part of socialist consultative democracy with Chinese characteristics,grassroots consultative democracy also plays an important role in the process of social and economic development and democratic political construction in China.Social capital theory has become an important factor in the development of democracy since it was applied to the study of democratic theory.In foreign countries,social capital is widely used to explain the development of democracy.At home,it is also considered as an important basis for the success of democracy.Most of the domestic researches on social capital and deliberative democracy directly borrow the correlation logic of western social capital theory and democracy,and the research on the relationship between social capital and grassroots deliberative democracy also follows the correlation logic of social capital theory and democracy,lacking of quantitative research to establish the relationship between social capital and grassroots deliberative democracy.Based on the establishment of measurement indicators of social capital and quantitative research as the main method,this paper uses SPSS software as an analysis tool to measure the impact of social capital in four geographical divisions of southeast,southwest,North and Northwest China on grass-roots consultative democracy from four aspects of interaction,trust,cohesion and sense of belonging,and establishes social capital and its various aspects and grass-roots cooperation At the same time,we find the difference of the influence degree of social capital in the four geographical divisions on the grass-roots consultative democracy,and discuss it on this basis.It has certain reference value for promoting the development of social capital and grass-roots consultative democracy.Finally,the limitations of this paper are explained and the future research direction is pointed out.
