With the continuous movement of Muslim immigration,European society is facing unprecedented challenges of foreign cultural shock and integration.Since the 21 st century,European countries represented by France and Belgium have successively introduced laws prohibiting the wearing of Islamic masked robes in public places,which has aroused heated discussion on the topic of human rights and freedom in Europe.Among them,the French " Banning Concealment of the Face in Public Places " law bears the brunt,causing widespread discussion.In addition,the case S.A.S.v.France which was brought to the European Court of Human Rights has also become a classic case,constantly affecting the related upcoming cases.This article takes the French law " Banning Concealment of the Face in Public Places " as the main research object,using the S.A.S.v.France case as an entry point,together to discuss the European social issues hidden behind the law.Among them,this article will focus on discussing "the right to live together" which was one of the legislative reasons applied by the French legislator.The analyzing will start with its legal basis,content and scope,to discuss if the French Law violates the provisions of the European Convention on Human Rights.Furthermore,this article also attempts to discuss whether the issues reflected behind the European burqa bans are more legal or cultural ones,and whether the law is capable enough to resolve such problems.This article consists three major chapters.The first chapter mainly analyzes the burqa bans and social background of European countries.The second chapter mainly introduces the specific content of the S.A.S.v.France case.The third chapter focuses on "the right to live together",discussing whether the legislative reason is capable restraint specific human rights.
