| Japan has been involved in the process of regional integration since the 1990 s.However,due to the obstacles of agricultural protection which have limited the speed of Japan 's FTA strategy,most of the FTAs ??previously achieved in Japan have been criticized for their low quality and low level.However,after the Trump administration came to power,the United States 'unilateralism tends become more prominent.The sharp increase of uncertainties from the United States and the current global trade liberalization process are in deep trouble,which has caused japan to be more active in seeking strategic autonomy in the formulation of global economic and trade rules.2018 is a year when Japan has implemented its FTA strategy and achieved fruitful results.The achievement of two high-quality FTAs ??by CPTPP and Japan-Europe EPA has enabled Japan to win the initiative in the discourse of global multilateral economic and trade rules,and makes japan became more confidence in dealing with China 's challenges in East Asian regional integration.Behind the achievement of high-quality FTAs ??in Japan in recent years,the gradual opening of high-sensitivity agricultural products in the past is an important factor for the successful agreement of high-quality FTAs.This paper will focus on the transformation of Japan's FTA strategies and the promotion of Japanese agricultural protection around Japanese FTAs In-depth analysis of the essence of loosening.This article is composed of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction is mainly to explain the research background,research significance and current research status at home and abroad,and also to explain the research methods,innovations and shortcomings of this article,the focus is to sort out the existing research and carry out a summary analysis to prepare for the detailed discussion below.The main text includes five chapters.The first chapter mainly summarizes the development of Japan's FTA strategy,separately sorting out the timeline of Japan's FTA development,explaining the current status of Japan's FTA implementation and explaining Japan's agricultural market opening in its main FTA.The second chapter mainly elaborates Japan's agricultural protection and its impact on the FTA strategy.It mainly includes three parts,namely,the current status of agricultural protection in Japan,the current status of agricultural development and the obstacles to excessive agricultural protection on Japan's implementation of the FTA strategy.The thirdchapter is mainly discusses the substantive reasons for Japan's further opening of the agricultural product market in the FTA strategic negotiations through internal motivation,external pressure,and Japan's domestic political,economic,and conceptual foundations.Chapter 4 is an analysis of the transformation of Japan's FTA strategy and its motivation.First,it summarizes the characteristics of the transformation of Japan's FTA strategy in recent years,and then analyzes the causes of the transformation of Japan's FTA strategy from the perspective of domestic and foreign strategic demands.Chapter 5 analyzes the promotion of FTA by Japan's loosening of agricultural protection through Japan-Australia EPA,TPP and Japan-Europe EPA.The conclusion is mainly based on the previous analysis,and it is concluded that the impact of agricultural protection on Japan 's FTA strategy will continue to exist for a relatively long period of time,but its obstacles are no longer as insurmountable as in the past.Whether the Japanese agricultural product market will be further opened in the future will still be affected by external pressures such as the United States,but more depends on the degree of conformity between its opening and FTA strategic demands and the effectiveness of domestic agricultural reforms.And the subtle changes of domestic political,economic,and conceptual environment will be an important catalyst for the opening of the Japanese agricultural product market. |
