Research On Social Organizations' Participation In Factual Orphans' Assistance Model In Rural Areas

In recent years,the marginal vulnerable group of rural factual orphans has attracted extensive attention from the society and the government.Due to the absence of formal system and the dual structure of urban and rural areas,there are many problems for orphans in rural areas,such as insufficient living security,psychological fragility,poor educational and medical environment,and insufficient social support.As an important supplementary force of social assistance,social organizations can effectively supplement the inadequate supply of government public services and provide security and assistance to this special group.The purpose of this study is to analyze the model of social organizations participating in factual orphans rescue.Using the case study method in qualitative research,taking Foundation A's E project as the research object,and starting from welfare pluralism and resource exchange theory,the author studies the practical process of E project and finds that the project carries out the rescue work for factual orphans in rural areas with a multi-subject cooperation rescue model.In the rescue,the government,other social organizations and volunteers have been mobilized to establish a cooperative relationship of dependence,equality and reciprocity,so as to ensure the effective operation of the project.However,there are still some deficiencies in the current relief model,such as the concept of relief,the way of service and so on.Too much emphasis has been placed on economic relief and neglected the individual development needs of the factual orphans.Social work,as a professional social force involved in relief,can provide strong support to the organization itself and factual orphans.Therefore,this study believes that on the basis of social work,measures such as initiative development of social resources,establishment of an equal and inclusive cooperative relationship,giving full play to the advantages of professionals,and transformation to relief services can promote the transformation and development of the project and further improve the current relief model.
