A Study On The Participation Of The Community Of Older Women In Rural Areas

As a result of the continuation of old ideas,the problem of rural women voices is serious.In rural communities,young older women are an important force for community participation,with ample leisure time and experience in dealing with matters,and a high willingness to participate in their own communities.As ageing intensifies,the group of young older women will gradually expand and promote better community participation,which can not only improve the quality of life of the group in old age,but also promote the stability and harmony of the community.Based on the theory of subcultural group and symbolic interaction theory of the elderly,this paper takes village M as an example to select elderly women aged 60 to 69.Using the interview method and observation method to understand the current situation and influencing factors of community participation of the elderly women in M village.It was found that older women in general had a high willingness to participate in the community,only because of individual,family and community factors,and lacked practical community participation in action.Due to the limited knowledge of the author,poor ability to link resources,unable to solve family and community factors.This paper therefore focuses on individual factors and identifies eight younger women as group members.At the individual level,demand estimates were carried out and six group activities were designed to increase confidence in the participation of the community of young older women and enhance their capacity for community participation.Research shows that through the intervention of group work,the group members met more friends,learned to appreciate the advantages of themselves and her people,and full of community participation confidence.At the same time,the female subject consciousness has awakened,can participate in the community activity with a more positive attitude.Finally,the author reflects and summarizes the whole activity,and draws the following conclusion: first,group work can addresssome of the needs of younger older women;secondly,pay more attention to the difference on the basis of homogeneity;finally,pay attention to the integration of social work methods.
