Troubled families are faced with multiple physical,psychological and social dilemmas,which not only affects family happiness,but also hinders social harmony and stability,requiring the coordinated intervention of multiple subjects such as the government,society and individuals.As an important social force,social work has the professional tradition and advantage of helping people in need.It is the professional mission and social responsibility of social work to help troubled families get out of trouble.Under the guidance of social support theory and general system theory,based on a systematic study of troubled families in a village,this study provided professional social work services for the troubled families by using the case management method.In the present study,it was found that the family has the problems of "W health problem","W mental health problem"," education-acception problem of grandsons" and "economic and housing security issues",which mainly lies in the lack of effective connection between " an informal life assistance system linked by blood and geography ",“a formal living assistance system linked to rural communities” and " a system of government dominated by the welfare sector ".For this purpose,this study helps the troubled families to establish social support network and long-term support mechanism by means of measures such as "rebuilding informal system,establishing life care mechanism","linking government resources,improving living security level","constructing social support network,improving mental health status" and so on.This study has achieved satisfactory results.The evaluation proved that case management is an effective and professional method to help troubled families out of difficulties,particularly,its case-centered,resource-linked and services-oriented professional strategy provided a guiding practical framework for social work to intervene in troubled families.
