Investigation Report Of Contradiction Between Information Supply Of Disabled People's Organizations And Requirement Of The Disabled

China is one of the countries having the largest number of disabled people.With the increasing aging population,after five years the total number of people with disabilities is expected to surpass one hundred million in China.A large-scale group gradually became an inevitable problem in social development process.The report of 19 th National Congress of The Communist Party of China redefined present social principal contradictions in new are of China as unbalanced development,including disabled people.Therefore,concern about survival status of disable groups will benefit the harmonious development of society,due to their current living situation is one of the important criteria to measure the degree of social civilization.For the above,this social investigation has tried to study current contradiction between information supplied by China Disabled Persons' Federation on We Chat official account and information required by disabled person,along with analyzing their specific required types of information consumption,also exploring whether the Digital Disability Divide3 has existed in disabled person's digital media environment compared with normal people.Besides,whether their proactive searching and communication behaviors exist or not have also become one of the research problems.In order to solve questions,this investigation has started with content analysis of We Chat official account of provincial Disabled Persons' Federation.According to We Chat Communication Index4,the best four accounts of communication effect are Shanghai DPF,Sichuan DPF,Hebei Province DPF and China Disabled Persons' Federation.After organization and coding contents,the results can be located that official accounts prefer to post certain kinds of contents,including disabled people's activities,government achievements,and real requirement satisfied contents.The major function of official account is to propaganda.Compared with analysis results of questionnaire,different ages of people with disabilities have all concerned about national policies,disable welfare policies,and employment policies,which has created a gap compared with official account's major supplement.Secondly,part of respondents is older than 60 with primary education who still can operate digital media proficiently,such as mobile phone,to communicate with each other or get news.Therefore,a fully developed digital media environment will not intensify Digital Disability Divide between reality,normal people and disabled group.Instead,digital media has already bridged the disability into social mainstream.However,under the circumstance of digital media sources available and accessible for disabled person,the main channel of accessing information still fixed with social groups in reality.Therefore,their communication efficiency and quality will be obstructed inevitably.Considering the conclusion from interview that even though proactive searching and communication behaviors are existed,from initiative searching to share and communication,it takes highly interested content and marvelous matching target combined with each other.To build a more disabled-friendly environment requires the whole society's attention and maintenance.As representative of disabled person,Disabled Persons' Federations official account can also enlarge the major function on influential and disability-accessible platform,improve the quality of supplied contents.Constructing disability digital environment and enhancing degree of happiness matters to the degree of social civilization requires broad participation.
