At present, the scale of Internet users in China has exceeded 800 million, the speed of network technology update and network innovation is unprecedented, and the network is deeply integrated into all aspects of economic and social development and people's lives. The rise of the Internet is an advancement that provides a broad platform for citizen's expression. At the same time, the development of the network is also a major challenge for the government. The inherent characteristics of virtual society such as anonymity, openness, and high degree of autonomy will inevitably produce new contradictions and problems, and pose many unsolved issues for social governance. This also means that the concepts, ideas and methods of cyberspace governance should go one step further. In the Internet era of rapid information dissemination, the government should recognize the importance of the Internet, play the leading role of the government, strengthen the guidance and correction of online public opinion, and use the online platform to communicate with the public in a timely and efficient manner to reshape the government image, enhance the credibility of the government. This article will analysis the impact of Internet use on government trust based on CGSS2010 data.Independent variable use of the Internet is mainly measured from the following four dimensions: whether to use the Internet, the frequency of Internet use, whether to use the Internet as the main source of information, and the main source of information. The dependent variable government trust is measured from two aspects: organizational trust and personnel trust.Organizational trust includes trust of central government and trust of local government, personnel trust includes trust of ordinary civil servants and trust of government officials. At the same time, control variables related to individual attributes, psychological level, and institutions, culture, and social capital. This article uses descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and other methods to analyze the relationship between Internet use and government trust. The study found that whether to use the Internet will be significantly related to the trust of the central government and the local government. The trust of the group not using the Internet is generally higher than that of the group using the Internet, but the effect of this variable on the trust of government officials and the trust of ordinary government staff is not obvious.Within the Internet use group, the frequency of Internet use will promote trust of local governments and trust of government officials, but it has no significant impact on trust of central government and trust of ordinary government staff.Whether the Internet is the main source of information will have a significant impact on the four observed variables of government trust. The trust of groups that do not use the Internet as the main source of information is generally higher than that of the Internet as the main source of information. The channels used to obtain information have no significant impact on the trust of central government and the trust of ordinary government staff. However, for the trust of local government and the trust of government officials, the group use newspaper as the main source of information has the highest level of trust, and the level of trust of the group that obtains information through channels such as magazines, radio, television,Internet, and mobile phone customization is based on this there is a decreasing trend. In response to the above research results, this article proposes policy recommendations from three aspects.First, strengthen the capabilities of government network governance. The government should face up to the importance of the Internet and strengthen the construction of government informatization;the government should play the leading role, strengthen the standardized management of the network, and scientifically guide online public opinion;the government should improve the network legal system, and leave no opportunities for criminals;the government should promote the integration of new media and old media to build a network culture that is in line with socialist value.Second, improve the public's online cultural literacy.Cultivate the public's ability of distinguish, not blindly follow the trend, improve their legal awareness;the Internet celebrities should assume social responsibility and become a model for promoting public rationality;the public should based on our country's actual situation and government governance capabilities and effects to make reasonable expectations and objective evaluations. Finally,we should also focus on other factors that affect government trust.Such as,purify the network environment avoid the erosion of bad news on young people;improve the quality of public products and services, increase the satisfaction and happiness of citizens;adopt the "Internet + traditional culture" model to enhance the exhibition of traditional culture;the government should use the advantages of network to develop social capital to increase the level of government trust.
