Farmers' Participation In The Construction Of Beautiful Countryside

Building a beautiful countryside is a major decision and deployment made by the Party Central Committee.It is an important part of Beautiful China,an expression of the image of a well-off society in an all-round way in the countryside,and an important entry point for implementing the rural revitalization strategy.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly given instructions on the construction of beautiful villages,emphasizing the need to build beautiful villages so that the people will have more happiness.Under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee and Party committees at all levels,the construction of beautiful villages has been advancing rapidly throughout the country,and the appearance of the villages has been effectively improved.The construction of beautiful villages is closely related to the masses and cannot do without mass support and participation.Whether it can mobilize the enthusiasm of farmers to participate is a major issue related to the success or failure of the construction of beautiful villages and the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.It is very necessary and meaningful to strengthen the research on farmers' participation in the construction of beautiful villages.Based on the extensive collection and review of relevant domestic and foreign research results on farmers' participation in the construction of new rural areas and relevant information on the construction of beautiful villages in various regions,this paper selects H County,Jiangxi Province as a research case,and interviews H County and relevant departments directly under the county.Units,township cadres and village "two committees" to learn more about the construction of beautiful villages,grasp the participation of farmers,existing problems and farmers-related demands,and summarize the status quo and existing problems of farmers' participation in the construction of beautiful villages.Analyze the reasons,and then explore and propose countermeasures.The research results show that the main role of farmers is a key factor in the construction of beautiful villages,and farmers' participation is of great significance to the construction of beautiful villages.However,in the construction of beautiful villages,there are still factors that restrict farmers' enthusiasm,including four aspects: self-caused,institutional,atmospheric,and organizational reasons.Based on these four reasons,we put forward targeted policy recommendations,namely: strengthen farmers' education and improve the quality of participation;improve the work system and broaden the ways of participation;increase publicity and mobilization to enhance participation enthusiasm;play an organizational role to provide participation guarantee;Give full play to the role of the market and increase participation benefits.
