Beijing Marathon Infraructure Transition

In recent years,city marathon of our country is on the increase,up to the October 2015;nearly 70 cities have held Marathon.Different from lots of sports events,the Marathon has a high requirement on the related infrastructure.The research adopts documentation research method,questionnaire investigation method as well as interview method to analyze the Beijing International Marathon,and focuses on the following issues.1.After 35 years of development,the related infrastructure of Beijing International Marathon has improved constantly.In terms of roads and transportation,in order to accommodate the Beijing urban traffic developing program,the events rerouted multiple times,and changed the track from a single round trip to the point-to-point type of circuits;According to the Beijing public rail transport condition and the fastest and slowest time all runners need before they arrive at every kilometer point.,adjusted the curfew program along the track.In terms of environmental protection,Bejing International Marathon increases the investment to the staff and equipment recycling garbage while the scale of events continues to expand.In addition,the organizer analysis the demand of runners,increases the number of mobile toilets,and integrates pulic resources.In terms of informationization degree,taking full advantage of the high degree of informationization superiority in Beijing,registration and payment mode shift from offline to online,and the publicty and broadcast of events shift from single media to diversity.In the respect of medical security,Beijing International Marathon constantly mprove the organization for the characteristics of amateurs,enhance the coordination and cooperation with emergency medical services,training professional medical aid volunteers,and provide insurance for each contestant..The heal th care of events gradually specialization and standardization.In terms of natural and cultural landscape,with the adjustments to the racing line,Beijing International Marathon shows runners the environmental landscape of Beijing different regions,makes contestants feel full of freshness,increase loyalty of events particpant,and becomes the propaganda card of Beijing,then enhance the competitiveness of Beijing culture.2.The main problems of Beijing Marathon infrastructure are:crowd evacuation in the end of competition is chaotic;the evacuation need and the supply capacity are mismatched;the garbage collection in the end of events is lack of efficiency,and the associated equipments are not adequate;there are not enough separate toilets along the track,so female players are not convenient;at last,environmental awareness of players and staff need to be improved.Based on the above analysis,here are my recommendations:strengthen the traffic evacuation in the end of events,provide shuttle buses and open all accesses of Line 8 Olympic Sports Center Subway Station;Pay attention to the garbage clean-up work in end point,and increase cleaning personnel and equipments;enhance the service awareness of organizing committee,settle toilets properly by the proportion of men and women players,and set specialized women parc ferme area and the starting area at the starting point;increase the risk awareness to avoid stampede,terrorist activities and other events.If the competition has to be canceled because of air quality or other force majeure factors,the organizing commilttee should propose a solution for the first time and response to the situation.
