With the development of the society,the progress of science and technology,the importance of innovation is more and more significant.College students’ extracurricular competition as an important means to develop the innovative ability of students in colleges and universities,as an important education carrier beside the daily teaching,has the special function of innovation education,in cultivating,innovative talents,promote the collaboration of leaning and research between colleges and universities plays a more and more important and positive role.At the same time,also develop students’ consciousness of innovation and entrepreneurship,become creative talents accorded the requirements of future challenges.On the basis of pedagogy and psychology,this paper discusses extracurricular competition to develop college students’innovation ability,and under the education model of "learning,teaching,research practice",in extracurricular science and technology competition’s platform,and guiding the competition,so it can go further and drill down into cultivating student’s innovation ability,and including the existing problems and prospect.First expounds the related concepts of innovation ability training,analysis of the connotation of innovation,innovation ability and ability training.And basis on this,the pedagogy of teaching theory,teaching principle of theory with practice,the creative principles of modern education and the education purpose to cultivate students’ innovative spirit by Tao xingzhi’s educators,the humanistic learning theory,cognitive structure learning theory and learning motivation reinforcement theory of psychology,provides an important theoretical basis for the innovation ability training.From the perspective of pedagogy and psychology,in-depth study on students participating in extracurricular competition at the same time,and in a right education teaching methods and student-centered education concept of cultivating innovation ability.Secondly studies the extracurricular competition is "challenge cup" national college students’ academic science and technology competitions,the process of school organizing students to carry out the competition can be divided into two phases,the first phase is that the school mobilize student teams,teams selected the topic and the survey to collect data,for writing and editing,to complete the first draft;The second phase is that the team should participate in the defense,listening to the advice and guidance of the experts,then through the layers of selection,constantly bear fruit.At the same time,through collecting the relevant information of innovation ability constituting,from internal and external two aspects,summarizes the main factors of the innovation ability,internal factors including innovation practice ability and innovative learning ability and practice ability;External factors including the construction innovation environment in university and innovative scientific exploration spirit of teachers.And analyzes the connection between competition and innovation ability,extracurricular competition can promote students’innovative ability,at the same time,which is based on extracurricular competition.In the process of student participating in the "challenge cup" competition and practicing"learning,teaching,research,practice" mode,to train students ’ innovation spirit and innovation ability,and create a good atmosphere of innovation ability training.This paper analyzed the relationship between "Learning,teaching,research,practice" mode and extracurricular competition,as the platform of the competition,and guiding the competition.From learning,teaching,research and practice four aspects,the extracurricular competition can develop students’ innovation ability of scientific nature more effectively.At the same time,a set up in the western region tourism professional college as the object,to ask for the information of students participating in the "challenge cup" competition.Due to the same team students are from different profession,often across different professional grade,and conducted a questionnaire survey for the college students,analyzed the current situation of the students to participate in the"challenge cup" extracurricular competition,lack of awareness of the innovation ability,do not understand the connotation and the composing of the innovation ability,innovation ability overall level is not high.Students’ interest in competitions is not high,the lower level of understanding of the participation rate is low.Students themselves think participating in the competition or not has certain influence on employment,but most of or related to the professional career choice,all this interest in innovation and enthusiasm is not high.So the correspondence of the specific training is to strengthen the cultivation innovate internal components of student’s ability and optimizing the external factors.Finally,the paper analyzes the problems of competition which is beneficial to train students’innovative ability in the extracurricular competition,but the competition propaganda is not enough,small students benefited range;Students lack of interest,participation is not high;Students participating unprepared,with blindness;Lack of extracurricular science and technology talent,cannot guarantee the quality of the competition;Competition works produce scientific research level is not high,low conversion rate;Extracurricular competition incentive mechanism is not sound,some problems of evaluation system.At the same time,it points out the effective competition of the elements of the innovation ability of science and technology after training as well as the students themselves and external related subject to correctly identify the innovation ability training,including to strengthen the awareness of students’ innovative ability of self-cultivation;to improve school’s emphasis on students’ innovative ability;to create the institute of the innovation is a good atmosphere;to strengthen teachers’ awareness of innovation ability training at the same time.On this basis,discussed the extracurricular competition to develop the innovative ability of students,train students’ innovative ability need a system of engineering,need high-level,more specific and detailed explore further.Set up correct education management system should be taken into consideration,the difference between the liberal arts and science and engineering profession,from the perspective of students,study effect evaluation for students,how to protect personality,play a special skill,cultivate students’ innovation ability,and a good social environment to guide all the members of the formation of innovation education,the cultivation of innovative talents to form a consistent positive understanding,promote the further development of innovation education. |
