Practical Research On Teaching Activities Of Cultivating Secondary Vocational Students’ Innovative Ability Relying On Innovation And Entrepreneurship Competition

The development of a country and the progress of a nation are inseparable from the innovation ability,so it is very important to optimize the teaching mode of innovation ability.Although many entrepreneurship and innovation competitions have been held in secondary vocational schools in recent years,there are few practical studies on entrepreneurship and innovation competitions in secondary vocational schools,especially in the cultivation of innovation ability of secondary vocational students,and lack of data support in the teaching field.In order to improve the training concept of secondary vocational students in the entrepreneurship and innovation competition,the author investigated the problems existing in the training of innovation ability of secondary vocational information technology students during his internship in a vocational and technical school in Guizhou.The main findings are as follows: Students’ practical ability is not strong,their academic performance is not ideal,their employment satisfaction is not high,teachers’ teaching methods and means are lacking,and the school lacks a good innovation and entrepreneurship teaching platform.Aiming at these problems,this paper puts forward the teaching strategy and teaching activity design scheme of the competition.Finally,through teaching practice,it is proved that effective teaching activities have a positive effect on improving the innovation ability of secondary vocational students.This paper specifically carries out the following four aspects of research: Firstly,by comprehensively using the methods of literature survey and questionnaire survey,it defines the core concept of innovation ability of information technology secondary vocational students,and summarizes the feasibility of carrying out the design of teaching activities for entrepreneurship and innovation competitions.Secondly,under the guidance of constructivist learning theory,studentcentered theory,ability-based theory and "learning by doing" theory,the teaching concept based on entrepreneurship and innovation competition is put forward,that is,the combination of theory and practice,"learning,training,competition,evaluation",and the teaching concept of "learning by doing".According to the principles of teaching activity design,heuristic teaching method,problem-oriented teaching method,projectbased teaching method and situational teaching method are adopted to formulate teaching activity strategies.Then,taking "Robot programming application" in the entrepreneurship and innovation competition of a vocational and technical school in Guizhou as a case,teaching activities were designed.Thirdly,relying on the entrepreneurship and innovation competition to carry out teaching practice,improve students’ innovative ability before,during and after the competition,and complete the summary and evaluation of the entrepreneurship and innovation competition.Fourthly,through interviews and the use of SPSS(26.0)software,the questionnaire data were compared horizontally and vertically to analyze and evaluate the effect of teaching activities and test the impact of teaching activities on the cultivation of students’ innovation ability.The experimental results show that through flexibly using teaching methods and means,and improving the environment of teaching activities,the students’ innovation ability in information technology has been significantly improved.This is mainly reflected in the significant improvement of students’ academic performance,practical ability and job satisfaction.Compared with the students who participated in the competition in previous years,the number of winners this year has increased significantly.The teaching activities can effectively solve the problems existing in the training of students’ innovation ability in the information technology entrepreneurship competition,help students better grasp the innovative thinking and improve their learning efficiency.Finally,the deficiencies of this study and the direction of the next step are given.
