SubjectBased on the theoretical research of action development and the cognitive ability of children,this study develops a scale for the development of preschool children’s gross motor development using the method of action development,biological testing,image recording and mathematical statistics.Which can provide a theoretical basis for society,family and related organizations to evaluate the level of children’s movement development by using the appropriate methods to evaluate the level of development of Chinese children’s movement in a rapid,accurate,objective and convenient way.MethodThe purpose of this study is to develop a scale for the development of preschool children with coarse motion,the first questionnaire to the relevant experts to issue questionnaires,in order to obtain a unified scientific scale test items,the formation of the first draft.In the practical application,in order to make the grading of the development level of the children more accurate grading,the use of image recording method test,and then use mathematical statistics,analysis of the scale of the reliability and validity,difficulty,distinction and gender and Age sensitivity,and to obtain the final preschoolers’ gross motor development scale.ResultAccording to the principle of compiling evaluation scale,the draft of evaluation scale for preschool children’s gross motor development includes 3 dimensions and 10 movements,which are displacement capacity dimension including straight-line running,double-foot continuous jumping,single-foot jumping and standing long jump respectively,Including the ability to control objects in situ,ball,kick,and ball in both hands,as well as the posture control ability dimension including the single-legged station and the walking balance beam.The 10 movements have good sensitivity,acceptability and universal,etc.,are entering the final draft.The inter-item reliability of each item was between 0.954 and 0.983,and it was significant at 0.01 level.Cronbach’s alpha coefficient is between 0.837 and 0.861,and has good structural validity,the factor load is between 0.607 and 0.890,and the coefficient is 0.926,which has very good test-retest reliability,and has very good homogeneity reliability.With good construct validity,set validity and discriminant validity.The final difficulty is moderate,the difficulty of the project is 46% ~ 81%,the project setting is fine,the project distinguishing degree is 0.40 ~ 0.67.Conclusion 1.developed by the Institute of preschool children with gross motor development evaluation scale in 3 to 6-year-old children in a very good universal,preschool children of all ages can be used.2.The developmental scale of preschool children’s gross motor development developed by our institute has good reliability,difficulty and discrimination in 3 ~ 6-year-old children,which can reflect the development of coarse movement of preschool children.3.developed in this study the development of pre-school children with coarse motion evaluation scale in the application,can be divided into separate evaluation of the dimension can also be comprehensive evaluation.
