The national sprint is the requirement and guidelines for the development and prosperities of a country.It's reminiscences that the same sprint is also required for the individual development.Selflessness presented by Feng Lei and Mingyi Guo is a sprint and powerful which leads them to dedication.The university where many talents are trained is also required a kind of sprint.The school motto is it.Under the guideline of the sprint of the school motto,many teachers and students make their dream to be ture and get a great success.The school motto is a caption of an university sprint and shows the whole sprint of an university education.Many unversities' school mottoes show the original intention of education and culture from different angels.Such as Self-discipline and Social Commitment is the school motto of Tsinghua university,Dedication to PublicInterests,Acquisition of All-round Capability,and Aspiration forProgress with Each Day is for Nakai university and Rich in Knowledge andTenacious of Purpose;Inquiring with Earnestness and Reflecting withSelf-practice is for Fudan university.All of those school mottoes are the wisdom concentration of the people who is/was in the university.They are the inexhausible power and enterpeising sprint for the people to strive hard to get success.A good motto can promote the teachers and students to be solidarity and friendship,can motivate teachers and students to be deligence and working hard.It also can teach people to love their school and country,to be pround of their country and school.There are only few words in the school motto,but it can briefly show many rules,experiences,methodologies and even the expections expectations of the progenitors.College students are the hope of the country.What kind of values and sprints that they developed will contribute to the development of the country.With the sprint of the school motto to educate college students growth,to develop their correct values and to guide their developmental directions could help them to face life with a positive and optimistic attitude in future.Only in this way,the chool motto could fully function to educate and develop the students.The school mottoes of the Normal universities in China present the sprint stand and deliver from different angles.They emphasize the cultivation of ethics and moral.It shows the identical characteristics of the normal universities.It is a precious spiritual wealth of the normal universities in our nation too.Some of them are established before the university foundation,but some of them are created after the university foundation.Some university motto is unchanged for a long time,some university motto is developing coupled with the development of university.But anyway,the school motto spirit of the universities is always in the same lineage,and become prosperous during the development.School motto,as a moral education resources,plays a fundamental role in education.However,its some moral education functions are blocked for some covered reasons.Some students don't know what is the school motto of their university.Some students don't know what's the real mean of the school motto.The school motto seems unnecessary.The school motto is just a words and loses the function of moral education.Cultural self-confidence is one of the four confidence.The excellent culture have been developed in our nation.School motto,as part of the school culture,it should service for our university.It should become the nucleus of the solidarity for the teachers and students.It also should function to the transition of the positive energy and the construction of campus culture.This dissertation is divided into four parts.In the first part,analyze the related theories of moral education of the university motto and determine the research scope of this article.In the second part,analyze the contents,types and characteristics of normal university school motto of China and lay a foundation for the research of the moral education function.In the third part,systematically present the moral education functions of school motto and the factors which affect the moral education function of it in the normal university in China.In the fourth part,try to illustrate the ways to achieve the moral education function of school motto in China normal university,in order to well show the school motto sprint,to achieve the moral education function of school motto and the permanent existence of the school motto spirit.
