Information technology is regarded as a powerful tool for students' learning Mathematics and solving problems in the Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Full-time Compulsory Education(2011 edition).It can also change students' learning way and make students willing to make more efforts on exploratory mathematical activities,which fits the concept of integration of information technology and mathematics curriculum.As is known to all,the development in China's ethnic minority areas is relatively slow and also educational conditions are relatively backward because of long period of historical reasons.Therefore,in recent years,the Party and the country pay great attention to ethic education,especially to national c education issues in rural areas of Western China.The "graphics and geometry" in Mathematics teaching of primary schools focuses on training the concept of space and geometric intuition of students,which has higher requirements for students' space imagination.So this part of the course has always been the difficulty of primary mathematics teaching.Especially for minority students with poor foundation to learn mathematics,teaching this part is much more difficult.The introduction of interactive electronic whiteboard is a great progress of mathematics teaching,and the electronic whiteboard is "integrating","interactive","easy to use" and so on.In particular,the electronic whiteboard can provide students with unique hands-on experience which can be very good for promoting students' meaning construction of graphic knowledge.As a front line mathematics teacher in ethnic areas,the author combines the advantage of mathematics graphics of the whiteboard with characteristic of graphic teaching,and applies the whiteboard into teaching of mathematics graphics in ethic primary schools.First,the author analyzes and combs concepts of graphic teaching and teaching strategies,and the current situation of the whiteboard teaching at home and abroad through literature reviews.Second,according to teaching situation of graphic teaching in ethic school and the use situation of whiteboard,the author designs detailed strategies of using whiteboard for every part in class,actually seeping the graphic teaching of whiteboard into class.The author also designs real teaching cases,teaches students and adjusts and improves strategies through the observation inclass and reflections after class.In terms of graphic teaching through using electronic whiteboard,this study plays a guiding role for other teachers in ethic areas.Through the study,the author finds that the electronic whiteboard plays a good role in promoting ethic primary students to study "graphics and geometry",improves students' enthusiasm of learning mathematical graphics a lot.The electronic whiteboard can also mobilize enthusiasm of class participation,highlight the dominant role of ethnic students in graphics class,making it easier for students to understand abstract graphics problems,and then improving students' space imagination.
