The Population Spatial Pattern Change And Land Use Spatial Governance In Zhangye

The major function oriented zoning proposes the intensive utilization of space resources and the implementation of limited emphasis exploitation,promoting the relative concentration of population living and reasonable population transfer,guiding the population distribution and economic distribution in accordance with resource environment carrying capacity,and advancing the spatial equilibrium of population,economy and environment.In this paper,with the support of GIS and RS,the population spatial database of Zhangye in two years is constructed from multiple perspectives and scale,and it expresses the spatial visualization of the population spatial distribution,multi-scale population density and population center of gravity and its changes.From the perspective of eco-environmental sensitivity,it constructes the land suitability evaluation index system of oasis city,which divides the eco-suitability into 5 grades,comprehensively evaluates the suitability of urban land use in the region,and carries on the land-use space governance.To discuss the spatial governance of land use in Zhangye under the background of urban population spatial pattern change.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)The concentration degree increase and imbalance deepen about the population spatial pattern in Zhangye city,counties and districts.Population spatial pattern has the stability in township scale and the population concentration degree is high in oasis plain and low in the mountains and desert district.(2)The different spatial scales exhibit different distribution characteristics in population spatial pattern.The research on the population distribution characteristic from the small scale can express the population spatial pattern more meticulous.From the county and township scale,it shows that the population is transferred from the periphery to the central area and the population space pattern is descending from the center area.The center area from the county scale is Ganzhou District and the township scale center area for each county town.From township oasis scale,some township population densities are uprush than the township scale,or it may relate to the small oasis area of these townships.(3)The center of gravities are distributed in Ganzhou District about population,economic,grain and water supply.The center of gravities are characterized by the west by north movement about population,economic and water supply in most years and the food in the southeast direction of the movement.It shows that the populationagglomeration and economic development depend on water.(4)The areas are zoning by Major Function Oriented Regionalization in Gansu Province in the county scale,and the change of population spatial pattern basically conforms to the requirements of governance.The sub-areas are land use zoning based on ecological sensitivity levels,then doing spatial governance of land use under the background of population spatial pattern change.The evaluation results of ecological sensitive area mainly include mild sensitive area and moderate sensitive area in Zhangye.Governance measures: the city should pay attention to the development of ecological land,afforestation and planting grass and saving water resource;the conditional areas can develop agricultural land and construction land and the central area can exploit moderately,forming urban areas which are population concentration and industrial agglomeration;the region which has fine agricultural conditions can develop characteristic agriculture and efficientive water-saving agriculture;moreover,moderate sensitive areas are unfit to develop industrial warehouse land,and population distribution should consider its high ecological sensitivity level.
