A Study On The Spatial Restructuring Of Xia-Zhang-Quan Urban Agglomeration Within The Context Of Urban Integration And Major Function Oriented Zoning

In today’s China, the development of urban agglomeration is faced with two significant trends of urban integration and major function oriented zoning. On one hand, with the influence of regional economic integration, the urban agglomeration spatial combine gradually, that makes the trend of urban integration prominent increasingly. On the other hand, as the development of urban agglomeration, the problems arises that spatial structure were lack of overall development planning and the resources and environment were under restrictions. To overcoming those problems, this country accelerates the implementation of the strategy of major function oriented zoning so that the urban agglomeration spatial structure needs to be optimized. Thus, how to guide the spatial restructuring of urban agglomeration has become the focal point of common attention of government and academic circles within the context of urban integration and major function oriented zoning. Obviously, these two trends have exceeded the category of international theories of urban agglomeration, and involve seldom to the related research in China. This paper takes Xia-Zhang-Quan urban agglomeration (XZQ) as a case. From the view of urban integration and major function oriented zoning, this paper analyzes the spatial structuring characteristics of XZQ firstly, and then focuses on the elements of urban agglomeration spatial development affected by urban integration and major function oriented zoning implementation, investigates the model and path of spatial restructuring in XZQ within such context, and construct scientifically rational urban agglomeration spatial pattern.Firstly, to analyze the present spatial structure characteristics of XZQ, this paper uses the gravity center model and other methods from the view of population, economy and urban spatial structure, and then holds that they are coexist between agglomeration and diffusion of urban agglomeration spatial development in XZQ, which suggest that the characteristics of urban integration are obvious. Secondly, this paper analyzes the urban integration of XZQ and its dominant impact factor, and the traffic network is recognized by using Delphi method and public perception. Based on the study of traffic network using convex hull theory and travel time satisfaction and other methods, these results indicate that the intercity transportation has reached the satisfactory need of the majority, while the intra-city transportation has not meet the demand of the majority. We recommend that the government should improve the accessibility especially the intra-urban accessibility in spatial restructuring of urban agglomeration. In addition, this paper confirm the major function oriented zoning of each city in XZQ, as well the general resources carrying capacity of urban agglomeration which is the principal influence factor in the major function oriented zoning. We analyze the principal influence factor and measure the potentiality of resources and environment based on biological immunology and state space model, which show that it is overloading in XZQ and the spatial variation is quite notable, which urgent need to push forward the process of spatial restructuring under the context of major function oriented zoning. Thirdly, within the context of urban integration and major function oriented zoning, this paper takes the trend of ecological, integration, network and economical intensive as the orientation in spatial restructuring, proposes the model of Pole-Axis in spatial restructuring recently and Constellation Network model should be taken in future. Finally, spatial restructuring realizing route are put forward at an angle of all types of Major Function Oriented Zoning and among different major function.From the view of new situation that urban agglomeration development is under the implementation background of urban integration and major function oriented zoning, this paper tries to analyze the dominant impact factor of XZQ from microscopic individual scale, combines urban integration with major function oriented zoning, aims at building a analysis framework of urban agglomeration spatial restructuring under these backgrounds, enrich the theories of urban agglomeration spatial restructuring and hope to provide reference for the development of XZQ and other urban agglomeration.
