Research On Training Mode Of Commentary Host In The Digitization And Media Convergence

China is now undergoing a transformation in terms of Digitization and Media Convergence.The talents in the industry are therefore facing more challenges,especially for the commentary program hosts.This thesis analyses the impacts such transformation would make on both the commentary programs and their hosts.With the rapidly growing graduates majoring in Broadcasting and Hosting and the quick development of this industry,hunting a job is actually still an issue.Most graduates are hardly qualified for the position of Commentary Program Hosts – partly due to the gap between the education they received from the colleges and the real skills that would be required in the industry.Therefore,education institution should focus more on the change of lecture design,training mode,training method,and etc.This thesis conducts multiple methodologies including literature researches and analysis,case studies and comparison as well as concluding from experiences,in order to find out the key issues/ shortcomings in our current education provided towards young talents,and therefore provide solutions and recommendations.
