Learning motivation and self-efficacy have an important effect on adolescents' learning performance.However,there are few studies on the status of learning motivations for children of migrant workers and the internal mechanism of learning motivation on learning performance.This study aims to explore the impact of learning motivation on the learning performance of migrant workers' children from the perspective of self-efficacy.In this study,12-15 migrant workers' children in a junior high school in Lanzhou were screen out as the object of this study.First,this study investigated learning motivation level of the migrant workers' children(success motivation,test anxiety,their own responsibility and requirement levels).From the whole motivation level of the students,this study found that children of migrant workers have a good level of motivation,which is at above average level compared with the national norm and there is no serious problem.In terms of knowledge,the level of male motivation was significantly lower than that of female motivation,with an average score of 26.09.Compared with the norm(23-27),the level of motivation was close to 27.In terms of skills,the level of male motivation was significantly lower than that of female,with an average score of 27.57,and compared with the norm(25-29),the level of motivation is moderate.In terms of sports,the level of male motivation was slightly higher than that of female motivation,but there is no significant difference,with an average score of 28.43,and compared with the norm(27-32),the level of motivation is moderate.In terms of social life,the level of male motivation is lower than that of female motivation,but there is no significant difference among the social life,with the average score of 27.85,and compared with the norm(27-31),the level of motivation was moderate.Male students and female students have no significant difference in the level of motivation in the level of anxiety and responsibility.But in the level of self-demand,female students was slightly higher than male students.Second,this study explored the relationship among self-efficacy,learning motivation(successful motivation,test anxiety,self-responsibility and requirement levels)and learning achievement of the migrant workers' children in the junior high school students in Lanzhou.The study found that self-efficacy scores were significantly and positively correlated with successful motivation,positive anxiety,level of responsibility and learning performance scores,positively correlated with self-demand level scores,but it is not significant.Success motivation scores were significantly and positively correlated with positive anxiety,level of responsibility,self-demand level and leaning performance scores.Positive anxiety scores were significantly and negatively correlated with responsibility level scores,but were significantly and positively correlated with the self-required level and learning performance scores.Responsibility level scores were positively correlated with self-demand and learning performance,but not significant.Self-demand was significantly and negatively correlated with learning performance.Most importantly,this study found the partial mediating role that self-efficacy plays between learning motivation and learning performance.This study plays an important role in the improvement of learning performance of children of migrant workers in Lanzhou City and even the national migrant workers,and provides a theoretical basis for the intervention of teachers in their students' learning performance.
