Recently in China, from the government to common people, people all hold the view that building road is the precondition of wealth. As so,road and other infrastructures are being thought playing the extreme important role in social economic progress.Large-scale road constructions accordingly happen in the whole country,Yunnan as the border areas has also experienced many road upgrade projects, which mainly for the social economic development purpose. The construction and usage of Dali-Lijiang motorway in Jiuhe is a 'event' in the process of Jiuhe's social development.Jiuhe as the hub of northwest of Yunnan, its social progress has persistently influenced by road.Road as the change agent will give a persistent effect on the village.Under the effect, the village will make adjustments accordingly. Thus, the state of the village actually always swings between balanced and unbalanced, which never ceases. This change process corresponds to the social resilience theory. In addition, besides material meanings, road infrastructure also implicates many symbolic meanings.Negative effects may follow after the condition and usage of road in short time and on micro level, which will isolate the village from the outside world. However,in long time and macro aspect, road also has the feature of linkage that can link up the village with the outside world unlimitedly. This can absolutely offer more positive effects to the progress of the village and local areas. Therefore, positive effects of the road can be shown and negative effects will disappear gradually.Isolation and unfairness will finally replaced by linkage and share.
