At present,the teaching quality problems of our country's colleges has attached more and more people's attention,all colleges pay more and more attention to teachers and teaching.In order to improve the teaching quality of colleges,they has built some college teachers' teaching development centers.However,at present our country's teaching development centers are still in the initial stage,the effect of teachers' training is not obvious,we need to learn from foreign advanced experience of the faculty development institutions.In the 1960 s,colleges in the United States started to set up the teaching center to carry out the teachers' development projects.They have accumulated rich experience especially in developing teacher training courses,which can provide reference for the teachers training curriculum development in colleges teaching development centers.This study takes Center for Research on Learning and Teaching(" CRLT" for short)in the university of Michigan as a case.It focus on its teachers' training curriculum development and analysis it from training target,contents,implementation and evaluation.This study found that the curriculum development has the following three characteristics: demand oriented,centering on the problem,making a reference to adult learning stage.Meanwhile,according to the college teachers' Teaching academic ability training of academic exchanges dimension,knowledge dimension,concept dimension,reflection dimensions,CRLT construct the college teachers training course system,which reflects the university teachers' professional requirements of the particularity of combining teaching with scientific research.It not only effectively promote the university teachers to actively participate in training,but also can link of teaching and learning and cultivate the teachers' teaching academic ability,encouraging them to improve the teaching consistently.The successful experience of American university teacher training course enlightens us,in the process of carrying out teacher training work in colleges,we should introduce the teaching academic ideas,strengthen the theoretical basis of teacher training courses,make full use of the teaching development centers,reform the existing teacher training course in university,provide professional teachers' training course.
