The aim of this paper is to figure out the characteristics of career burnout,self-worth and teaching innovation of teachers in special education schools and hence analyze the relationships among them.After that,the impact of self-worth and teaching innovation on the career burnout of teachers in special education schools were discussed.By using the questionnaires,career burnout,self-worth and teaching innovation of 347 teachers in special education schools who were from 17 provinces in China was investigated.Maslach Burnout Inventory,The Questionnaires of Teachers' Self-worth and Teaching Innovation Questionnaires of Teachers were used.What's more,Descriptive statistics,variance analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis and other statistical methods were also introduced.Therefore,some conclusions were figured out:a.The ethnic,educational background and school area have a significant impact on career burnout of special education teachers.Age,marital status,professional ranks and income influence the special education teachers a lot;the education background can affect the teaching innovation of teachers in a large extent.b.A significant negative correlation was found between career burnout and self-worth;the relationship between self-worth and teaching innovation was positive;a significant negative correlation was found between career burnout and teaching innovation.c.The lower senses of achievement of special education teachers have the negative predictive effect on teaching innovation;and have a positive predictive effect on career satisfaction;Occupational skills,the ethic of citizens and social acceptance have a significant positive predictive effect on teaching innovation.d.The mediating effect between self-worth and career burnout was obvious.As for the teaching innovation,it acted as the incomplete mediating effect.
