With the continuous deepening of domestic and foreign education reforms,the core literacy has become the most popular word in the education community.Training core qualities has become the common mission of the entire nation.As an important part of the middle school curriculum,chemistry is inextricably linked with the development of modern science and technology and society and life.It is an important link for students to understand and adapt to the world.How to improve students' core qualities in chemistry is the common faced major problem of today's chemical educators.Although many research scholars are discussing their training strategies,how to cultivate the core qualities of high school students in chemistry should be cultivated.The cultivation of core qualities has not yet implement from a practical perspective.Therefore,this is a long,progressive and difficult major project that cannot be accomplished overnight.It requires a long period of hard work and practice.This article analyzes and elaborates on the current research status of core literacy and core literacy in chemistry at home and abroad,and defines related concepts such as literacy,core quality,chemical quality,disciplinary core competence,and core literacy of chemistry.With the scope of the investigation and practice of Xinjian Second middle school in Jiangxi Province,the status quo of the cultivation of the core literacy of high school students in chemistry was investigated.The overall situation,different grades,different types of classes,gender,arts and sciences in five aspects of the comparative analysis of questionnaire scores,combined with the basic situation of students learning chemistry status and the investigation of the first-line chemistry teachers and interviews analysis of high school students caused by the core of chemical science Reasons for insufficient literacy and defects,and propose the strategies and strategies for cultivating the core literacy of chemistry subjects from the perspective of schools,teachers,and students.Finally,chemistry teaching design is based on this.
