Reading ability is one of the important core literatures of contemporary middle school students.Since 2015,the construction of Shuxiang campus and Shuxiang family has become a hot spot in society.Schools and families are important positions in reading education.Reading is crucial for young people.It not only enhances young people's cultural accomplishments and broadens their horizons,but also enhances the will-quality of adolescents and enhances their ability to imagine and innovate.The family also plays an important role in improving young people's reading ability.In the family,parents should establish a scientific concept of reading,actively create favorable reading conditions for lifelong development of young people,encourage young people to love reading,and treat books as friends.Five hundred and two students have been selected from the first grade of Yunnan Normal University Experimental Middle School as the research object,of whom 10 were interviewed.First of all,according to the curriculum standard compilation of reading ability test questions,collect data related to students' reading ability.Then the current situation of family reading environment is surveyed.The questionnaire is divided into four dimensions,parents' professional education,family education resources,parent-child sharing reading and student reading behavior.Parent-child sharing reading includes parents' cognitive attitude,reading habits,instructional strategies and reading effects.Student reading behavior includes student reading attitude,habits and achievements.Through the correlation analysis,we actively explore family reading environmental factors that affect the reading ability of first-year students.Mainly from the material factors and non-material factors in two aspects of difference analysis.According to the survey data and interviews,the conclusion is drawn:the overall reading level of the first grade students is generally high,and there is still much room for improvement;family education resources provide important protection for the students' reading ability;parents and children share reading and students Independent reading behavior plays an active role in improving reading ability.Then from the two aspects of family education and school management,we put forward reasonable suggestions:In family education,we hope parents can establish a scientific concept of family reading,create a good family reading environment,cultivate children's good reading habits and strengthen reading guidance to their children.In school management,we hope that the school can break the textbook restrictions,integrate reading materials,strengthen reading methods and reading instruction guidance,so as to optimize the role of reading teaching mode.
