Reggio Emilia is a small town in Italy.After the Second World War,people in Reggio in order to push the process of Democratization and provide the education for the children,they formed the Reggio Approach by the leadship of Malaguzzi in the later.This education system has been warmly praised by the Europe and America.The Diane School by the United States Newsweek named as the most creative kindergarten in the world and the Reggio Approach was regarded as one of the top ten most popular models.This paper is focused on the Italy Reggio Approach for research object and adopts the methods of documentary abalysis,historical analysis and comparative analysis.The article analyses the social background,history and content.Reggio Approach holds that the children have the right on learning and pay attention to the cultivation of children's creativity,aesthetic education;On the curriculum,it pay attention to the project approach;on the environment,it pay attention to the education of the environment;on the Home-School Cooperation,Pay attention to strength of commuinty,government and family.With the deeply communication and cooperation into each other country,the Reggio Approach has strong vitality in the world,some Kindergartens having take the ideas of Reggio Approach in the practise.How to make the Reggio Approach Combined with Chinese national conditions is the problem which need us take the further discussion.
