From the view of current conditions,China’s ideological and political education pays more attention to imparting moral knowledge,and less attention to fostering moral emotion,thus failing to achieve the individual’s emotional identification and greatly influencing its effectiveness.In the reality,ideological and political education should not just on the cognitive level of the values identification.Its ultimate goal is that it must bring individual to achieve the unification of cognition and behavior based on the value truth.To achieve this,moral emotion is required.It appears that human behaviors,at some level,are acts of will.Meanwhile,emotion is necessary for will.Therefore,we make full use of moral emotion so that unify behaviors and cognitions.In other words,moral emotion is an intermediary factor between moral knowing and doing.In ideological and political education,only by strengthening the emotion education can the educated achieve the internalization and externalization smoothly,with becoming a man of sound credibility.With regard to the actuality that moral education appears to ignore moral emotion,this paper bases its view on the relations of unity and moral emotion,attempting to give a general interpretation of theory and offer some practice schemes.Specifically,this dissertation has five chapters: the first chapter covers the topic background,significance,relevant research achievement at home and abroad,thinking and methods and innovations;The second chapter is about the identification of the relations of unity in moral education.It expounds the concept of cognition,the content of cognition,the classification of cognition and the concept of behavior,the basic characteristic of behavior,the classification of behavior in moral education;The third chapter analyses and studies moral knowing and doing.This part mainly studies the logical generation of the unified relationship between knowing and doing in the moral domain,introduces the perception of the essence and the three patterns of the unity;The fourth chapter argues remarkable intermediary role of moral emotions,the main contents include the inherent essence,the basic types and the intermediary effects;The fifth chapter is the key of this paper,which elaborates the channels of fostering moral emotions through current ideological and political education,the main contents include the necessity,the possibility and the ways to reach out.Discussions about the relations of unity and moral emotion not only need to analyze some concepts of ideological and political education studies thoroughly,deepen the cognitions of its process and essences,but also need to understand moral motives and significances as well as to enhance the identity of spiritual values and dignity by virtue of which man is man.Consequently,researching on the intermediary role and the cultivation pathways of moral emotion are extraordinarily meaningful to current ideological and political education.
