Analysis Of Intervening In The Community Assistance Of The Shidu Elderly With The Method Of Case Work

China's one-child policy has been implemented for more than thirty years since 1982,and the batch of parents who made response to the one-child policy will get older.For a variety of reasons,some of them unfortunately lost their favored sons and daughters to become the "shidu"people.Until 2012,Chinese shidu family has exceeded one million and there are 76,000 new shdu family every year.The issues of the shidu elderly in the aspects such as,medical care,pension and spiritual consolation etc.are becoming increasingly prominent,and they,in fact,are the groups who need the particular attention from the society.Based on the literature research and empirical investigation,this paper,taking the shidu elderly of Taijiang District,Fuzhou City as the research object,intervenes in the community assistance of a shidu family through the method of case work and the related skills and carries out the analysis,summary and reflection on the effect of the service and the process of the whole case service.The whole text can be divided into six chapters-four parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the background,significance,review and the research design of the predecessors;The second chapter is the status quo of the shidu elderly in Houzhou street,Taijiang District,Fuzhou,which particularly introduces the basic situation of the shidu elderly in Houzhou street,Taijiang District,Fuzhou.And the Houzhou street,Taijiang District,Fuzhou is the living quarters of the case object in this paper and this chapter introduces the situation of the local shidu elderly,which is conducive to the reader to understand the social background of the life of the case;The third to the fifth chapters are the detailed introduction of the case service process,which is the focus of this paper.In addition to collecting the basic situation of the case subject,the author mainly makes the comprehensive and complicated introduction on the case service processes such as,the prediction of the problems of the case subject,the formulation of the intervention program,all the link in the intervention process,the closure and its reason and the follow-up and intends to show the content that the author intervenes the community assistance of the shidu elderly with the method of case work fully.The final result in the research shows that the method of case work to intervene the community assistance of the shidu elderly is effective and it can helps the shidu elderly out of spiritual dilemma to a certain extent;Chapter 6 is the review and reflection,which is the final summary part of this article.Through the review of the whole service process of the case intervention and the role acted by the social workers,this chapter summaries the experience gained in the practice,and reflects the existent insufficiency.
