The textbook occupies an important position in the field of education.First of all,it is specific basic of teachers to implement teaching.And it is also the important instrument of the students to acquire systematic knowledge and develop thinking ability and scientific literacy.So the textbook is an important carrier of teaching and learning,and also being one indispensable curriculum resource.Since the implementation of the 2011 revised edition of Physics Curriculum Standards of Compulsory Education,many physics textbooks of middle school have been revised in 2013.New features illustrate during the process of teaching and learning.We can get a better understanding of the essence of the curriculum standards from referring various textbooks.It can also widen our horizon and help us learn from each other to enrich our teaching content and methods.Therefore,the teachers should be skillful to do an overall analysis,comparison and research,in order to improve the teaching effect.Based on the Constructivism Learning Theory and Physics Curriculum Standards of Compulsory Education,the thesis is mainly about a comparative study of six editions of physics textbooks in the theme “Electricity and Magnetism”.The editions are BNUP edition,SSTP edition,PEP edition,PS Press edition,SSTP&GEPH edition,ESP edition.The main research methods of the thesis are literature research method,content analysis method and comparative research method.The first section is a simple introduction and an overall recognition of six editions of physics textbooks.Secondly,from the following five aspects,the thesis makes a detailed analysis and comparison of the six editions of the textbooks on Electricity and Magnetism: 1.Comparison of specific content arrangements;The following aspects are included: the comparison of the way of introduction,the comparison of chapters,and the comparison of each section content arrangement;The knowledge illustration of balance position and the commutator of the simplified electric motor are also compared.2.Comparison of the sidebar;3.Comparison of illustration settings;4.Comparison of the history of physics;5.Comparison between section exercises.We can clearly find out the commonness and characteristics.The thesis finds out that there are both advantages and shortcomings in six editions of physics textbooks,varying from the specific content,history of physics to homework,etc.We focus on the “Electric Motor” part in the research of the specific content,having made a personalized teaching design of this part,which would provide references for the physics teachers.At the end of the thesis,the thesis mainly provides some suggestions for the users of physical teaching materials: Teachers should choose appropriate teaching materials according to students' basic differences;Teachers should learn to integrate different versions of teaching materials;Teachers should have the habit of studying curriculum standards;Strengthen the establishment of the discipline group to prepare for the class.
