As the country's national ball,table tennis has always been in the leading position in the world in terms of its competitive level.The quantity and quality of the reserve talents for table tennis are an important prerequisite for the continued national ball's longevity in the international arena.Table tennis project The traditional school is a grass-roots ladder for the cultivation of table tennis reserve talents.Its construction and development level have important influence on the supply and long-term development of talents for the table tennis in China.According to the statistics of the Youth Sports Department of the State Sports General Administration,as of the end of 2016,19 provinces and municipalities directly under the central government of China's central and eastern regions accounted for 92% of the provincial and national level traditional table tennis schools in the country.Therefore,the study of traditional table tennis schools in the region is certain.The representativeness.In this paper,literature research,questionnaire surveys,interviews,mathematical statistics and other research methods are used to conduct in-depth investigations into the current status of the development of the traditional school of provincial and national level table tennis in the central and eastern regions of China,and to study the obstacles in the development process.Propose a corresponding development strategy.The survey results show that the current situation of the traditional school of table tennis in China is:1.The level and number distribution of the traditional schools of provincial and national level table tennis in the central and eastern regions are in line with the laws of the pyramid of sports personnel training,and the structure is basically reasonable.2.The construction of campus infrastructure to meet the needs of teaching and training needs to be improved.The funds for the development of table tennis are mainly administrative grants,and there is a lack of social capital injection.The sources of funding sources are single.3.The professional level of professional teachers for table tennis needs to be improved.The State strongly supports but the participation of teacher training is low.The distribution of training quotas and the setting of practical courses are irrational.The teacher award mechanism needs to be improved.4.The intensity of student training in each region is not in conformity with the relevant national regulations.The degree of integration of physical education and education needs to be improved.School leaders,parents and students have low recognition of table tennis training.The participation in the competition is low,the number of competitions is small,and the opportunities for assessing sports grades are uneven.5.The division of responsibilities between the sports and education departments is not clear and lacks a communication platform.The joint development of schools,clubs,reserve talent bases,etc.is a relatively slow development.6.The school's regular audit and evaluation work is not implemented properly,and the information management of athletes' files is not perfect.7.The construction of the school's evaluation system for students' overall quality and the self-enrollment model is slow.The policies and methods for college students to recruit table tennis items are basically fair and reasonable.In response to the above problems,the paper proposes the following countermeasures for the development of the traditional school of table tennis in the central and eastern regions of China:1.Management: Improve the three-level management model of the country,region,and school,focusing on improving the professional level of teachers;transitioning from the "combination of sports and education" to "community of sports and education";increasing the number of competitions,balancing the opportunities for assessing the level of sports among regions;improving students File informatization and training schedule and schedule.2.Consciousness level: build a communication platform between supervisors;promote the diversification of the table tennis industry and broaden the funding sources;build a democratic school management model to increase parental recognition and enthusiasm for student training;reasonably arrange teacher training quotas and improve curriculum settings Reasonable degree.3.Policy level: Strengthen the school's self-enrollment system,reasonably increase the opportunities for assessing sports grades,and build a collaborative platform for the two departments.
