Research On The Intention Of The Second Child For The Urban Post-80s Female

With the development of modernization,more and more women are moving from home to work.It is necessary to properly balance the relationship between family and career.The post-80 s women,as the most fertile people of reproductive age and the main force of giving birth to the second child under the 'all-around second child' policy,are more close to the actual fertility behavior of the second child.Taking post-80 s women as the subjects of study,we analyze their desire to have a second child.Therefore,it is very urgent to carry out empirical research on this group.This study will carry out an empirical investigation on the willingness of post-80 s urban women to have a second child under the background of open policy.This article adopts the investigation research method.Under the guidance of rational choice theory,a questionnaire survey was conducted on post-80 s women in Zhengzhou from the perspective of sociology,and the specific problems such as their desire to have children and their influencing factors were described and analyzed.The main motivation of the post-80 s professional women is to give their children the companionship and satisfy the parent-child relationship.Through the regression analysis of the influencing factors,it was found that the possibility of having a second child was higher in the post-80 s working women who had a large demand for support and a friendly workplace.Compared with the post-80 s working women who have one boy,less positive parents and less financial help from their parents,the post-80 s working women who have one girl,more positive parents and more financial help from their parents are more likely to have a second child.Some new discoveries are made in the process of research: firstly,the limitation of economic rationality.According to the rational choice theory,due to the consideration of the cost of raising children,the willingness of the second child of the post-80 s professional women will be affected to some extent by economic conditions such as income.However,it is less important to raise the cost of raising children when they have a strong desire to have a second child and pay more attention to thevalue and benefit that children bring to the family;Secondly,parental influence on both sides.Through empirical analysis,it is found that parents have a significant influence on on the willingness to bear children.If the parents' attitude and financial help is the " push" to improve the post-80 s working women's fertility will,the parents' care needs is a " pull",both affect the post-80 s working women's second child fertility will;Thirdly,the importance of workplace environment.The attitude of working unit to female workers and the opportunity cost of having children will affect the enthusiasm of working women;From the second,the integrity of the influencing factors.In addition to the common socioeconomic characteristics of individual population,the various trajectories of post-80 s professional women's life and work are likely to be related to the willingness to have two children;Finally,the contradiction between ideal and practical choice.The post-80 s career women's willingness to have two children is not only unified but also deviated from each other.Both of them are contradictory.To some extent,this contradiction reveals that the causes of the second child's fertility will of post-80 professional women are very complicated.According to the above research results,two specific Suggestions are put forward to encourage the right of birth and protection,so as to promote the reproductive enthusiasm of professional women in the post-80 s generation.
