In recent years,the employment situation of master's degree graduates has become increasingly severe,and this group,which happens to grow up under the one-child policy.They have been the focus of their families since their childhood,and they are influenced by their families at every stage of their life when they enter school and get employed.Applying the theory of rational choice to reveal the process of this group making full use of resources and adopting the optimal strategy under the influence of the family can provide enlightenment experience for the master graduates of the only child,which has certain theoretical value and practical significance.In this paper,200 singleton children and master graduates were surveyed by questionnaire,and 10 respondents were selected for one-to-one interview.Based on the analysis of the survey results,some conclusions were drawn.First of all,the only child master graduates will be affected by the family concept,family resources and family pension problems in the process of choosing a career;Secondly,behind the career choice,there is both the influence of traditional cultural concepts and the influence of multiculturalism due to the introduction of foreign ideology and culture.Finally,it tries to summarize the experience and rules of maximizing the benefits in the process of choosing a career--family resources.Those who cannot get help from family can expand their social network,accumulate social capital and reduce family influence in higher education.In terms of family endowment problems,self-realization and development can be taken as the primary goal,and corresponding plans can be adjusted in time according to their own development.
