The environment affects people's development,chooses mentors and helpful environments for learning,and can make people far away from evil and cultivate themselves.Marx and Engels once said that "man creates environment,and the same environment also creates man".The teaching environment is part of the human environment.The classroom environment is one of the main forms of school education.Its quality is directly related to the success or failure of school education.In recent years,the high school biology curriculum has put forward new core concepts:the concept of life,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry and social responsibility.It shows that the country has put forward higher requirements for students' cultivation in terms of knowledge,ability,emotional attitude,and values.Therefore,a good classroom environment that can promote the healthy development of students' physical and mental health is crucial.In view of this,this study conducted a survey on the status quo of the classroom environment of high school biology and analyzed the results.Based on the questionnaire survey,this paper studies the environment of biology classroom by means of literature analysis,classroom observation and student interview.Through the analysis of literature,we understand the definition of the classroom environment,the theoretical basis,the research methods and the deficiencies in the research.On the basis of combing relevant literature,the basic framework of the study is constructed,and the research is conducted from the physical environment and psychological environment of the classroom environment,and it is determined that the object of study is the four key high schools in Yangzhou.Then prepare the questionnaire and make revisions,distribution and recycling.The physical environment is investigated from the aspects of sanitary environment,space-time environment and infrastructure.The psychological environment is investigated from the aspects of interpersonal relationships,individual development and system maintenance.The results of the survey show that:(1)As far as the classroom environment is concerned,teachers and students all believe that the classroom physical environment has a greater impact on teachers and students,and the classroom environment is related to the improvement of students' academic performance;the teachers and students are willing to work together to optimize the classroom environment,but the implementation is pretty difficult;the teachers and students do not have comprehensive understanding of the elements of the classroom environment.(2)The teachers and students are generally satisfied with the hygienic environment in the classroom physical environment,but some other aspects are not so satisfactory.(3)In terms of the classroom psychological environment,despite the harmonious interpersonal relationship in the classroom environment,the teachers' understanding of the relationship between teachers and students is not comprehensive enough;the interaction between teachers and students is relatively monotonous;the students were satisfied with the teacher's biology theory classroom management,but the biology experiment class was not so satisfactory;the teaching equipment is more and more advanced,but it still does not fundamentally change the way of teaching.After analyzing the results of the survey,the author puts forward some suggestions from the following aspects:(1)The construction of the physical environment should be strengthened by the relevant departments and teachers of the school.(2)Strengthen the re-education of biology teachers and cultivate their scientific research ability;(3)Teachers should pay more attention to the psychological environment of students' classroom,and fully understand the relationship between teachers and students.(4)The classroom interaction should be diversified and make the students more involved.(5)The modern multimedia technology and traditional teaching methods should be used scientifically and appropriately.
