Biology is a natural science based on experiments,and experimental courses are an important part of the biology curriculum in middle schools.The new curriculum standard clearly states: the purpose of high school biology teaching is not only to allow students to master the basic knowledge of biology,but also to allow students to acquire certain scientific inquiry ideas and skills to develop the habit of scientific inquiry on the basis of learning basic knowledge.To cultivate students' willingness to explore habits,etc.Biological experiment teaching is an important way to help students form biological concepts,obtain biological basic knowledge and experimental skills,stimulate students' interest in learning,and cultivate students' scientific inquiry ability.This research project mainly investigates the status quo of the experimental teaching of Biological Biology in Chengdu Senior High School through questionnaires and the recording of lectures and interviews.The questionnaire includes student questionnaires and teacher questionnaires.Student questionnaires mainly focus on the following aspects: understanding of experimental teaching,attitude of experimental teaching arrangement,status quo of experimental teaching,improvement of abilities,and evaluation methods of experimental courses.The teacher questionnaires mainly focus on the following aspects: the basic situation of teachers,the degree of emphasis that school leaders attach to biological experiment courses,the arrangement of experimental hours,the situation of the software and hardware of biological laboratories,the status quo of experimental teaching,the evaluation of teaching,and the factors influencing teachers' experimental teaching.The survey results showed that the current status of biological experiment teaching in Chengdu is well,while there are still some problems: some school leader spay little attention to the importance to biological experiments;teacher's teaching concept is relatively old and the teaching mode is relatively single;the learning habits and ability of students need to be improved;the subject of teaching evaluation is single and the assessment system is incomplete.In view of the above problems,the author puts forward the following optimization suggestions:1.The school is advised to strengthen the management of experimental teaching,mainly from the strengthening of the management of the laboratory,the increase of experimental hours,and conditional learning to establish a science and innovation center,and to strengthen the training of the experimental skills of teachers in several aspects of management;2.In the implementation of experimental teaching,it is recommended that the students in the experimental class should be heterogeneously grouped to improve the effectiveness of experimental teaching,which can advocate students to carry out exploratory experiments and cultivate the students' inquiry ability and spirit of innovation;3.Teachers should strengthen the cultivation of students' learning habits and abilities;4.Suggested the schools are suggested to establish a perfect experimental evaluation system,to determine the various ability of students,such as operation ability,observation ability,analysis ability,inquiry ability and evaluation ability as assessment targets,assessment of each target has a corresponding assessment criteria for different types of experiments,assessment objectives are different.
