According to the "Worldwide Alcohol and Health Status Report" issued by the World Health Organization, there are 2.5 million deaths each year associated with alcohol, accounting for 4%of the total deaths worldwide. In most countries and regions, the number of alcoholics is rising every year.Alcohol is the number one cause of death of males aged 15-59.Alcoholics often use alcoholism to eliminate troubles and reduce psychological feelings such as emptiness, timidity, guilt, and failure. If the whole society turns a blind eye to alcoholism and does not take effective measures to persuade them, alcoholics may endanger public security and allow us to experience theft, murder, domestic violence and so on.In China,up to 4 million cases are filed every year due to alcohol abuse. Therefore,we need to find a suitable and reasonable way to really help alcoholics to get rid of alcohol addiction and establish the concept of correctly dealing with difficulties and setbacks. As social workers, our mission is to serve people in society who need help, and alcoholics spontaneously organize themselves to participate in AA-style abstinence in the West, indicating that alcoholics are actively seeking help and are willing to change their hearts. Here, social work should pay more attention and give full play to the spirit of social workers. Here, from the perspective of social work, the author will enhance the self-awareness and self-control abilities of alcoholics, change the way that alcoholics face and solve problems, and form a correct and active method of living for others, and embark on a healthy work life track. This study will be based on social work group activities under the “treatment model” and will carry out six thematic groups: “cognition and acceptance,” “role-playing,” “video sharing,”“legal education,” “booking,” “identification, and encouragement.” The event has created a platform for interactive communication among the abstainers.Through this platform, members can communicate with each other and release their feelings, releasing pressure and finding a sense of belonging. In this process,a good interaction model was established and a mutually supportive system was formed. Finally, based on the above analysis and discussion, this study concludes: First, the establishment of therapeutic relationships is an important part of helping alcoholics to stop drinking.Second, the group work treatment model has,to some extent, improved the mental health of alcoholics and the degree of trust between people. The third group's work governance model has a positive effect on interfering with alcoholics.
