Freshmen's entrance education is the first lesson for college freshmen.To do a good job in college entrance education helps new students setting a new goal,adapting to college life as soon as possible,developing good learning habits,alleviating psychological crisis and accelerating the process of socialization.In recent years,colleges and universities have increased their investment in enrolment education and tried to improve the effectiveness of entrance education to some extent by improving the degree,content and methods of education.But there are still many problems in freshmen's entrance education,which makes the effect of freshmen's entrance education greatly reduced.Therefore,the theoretical significance of the study on the entrance education of freshmen from the perspective of Ideological and political education is to link the ideological and political education with the new enrolment education,and to put forward a new idea for the study of the new education,to broaden the vision of the freshmen's education and to combine the adaptive education and the growth education and to enhance the strength of ideological and political education and make ideological and political education more popular.At the same time,the study also has practical significance.For the student individual,it can help the freshmen to make more accurate self-positioning and self-analysis and find their own shortcomings and defects,help the new students to cultivate good learning and life habits,help the new students to deal with the various kinds of relations in the school,and achieve a harmonious relationship with their classmates and teachers.For colleges and universities,to a certain extent,it can reduce management pressure,improve the efficiency of education management,and ensure the realization of educational goals.On the basis of consulting the existing research results and related materials,the study used the methods of questionnaire and interview.A total of 600 questionnaires were issued to the freshmen of Lvliang University in Shanxi and Dali University.A total of 517 valid questionnaires were collected.At the same time,a total of 45 freshmen and sophomores in two schools were interviewed.Students through entrance education mainly have the following gains: firstly,understanding the school situation and local social situation,to facilitate the activities of students inside and outside the school;secondly,understanding the major,profession and life goals are more clear;thirdly,knowing the school rules and regulations,to standardize the study and life behavior at school;fourthly,adapting the university study life,the tension is relieved or eliminated;The fifth,learning self-management and constraints,to further enhance the ability of independent living;The sixth,recognizing the importance of interpersonal communication,to achieve be harmony with others.Through the new enrolment education,it provides a platform for the students and school to understand each other,sets up a good foundation for the successful life of the new university,provides a good opportunity for the new role transformation,and provides a basis for the university to strengthen the management of the students.In addition,there are still some shortcomings in the new enrolment education of two schools,which are mainly manifested: lack of extensive consensus on the importance of education;short duration,lack of continuity in education;lack of depth of education,lack of emphasis;lack of participation and lack of extensive participation by teachers;single form,full irrigation and lack of birth.It is not enough to guide the students' learning and life problems;the students' main position is not prominent and the active participation is not enough;the lack of deep communication between teachers and students leads to the lack of educational pertinence.To do freshmen's entrance education well can give students directions.To improve the effectiveness of new enrolment education needs to strengthen the importance of entrance education for freshmen and form a broad consensus;needs to turn “freshmen entrance education” into “freshmen education” and pay attention to its continuity;needs to pay attention to the breadth of the participation of the faculty and staff,and take the full-time teachers as an important living force;needs to unify the content of education roundly and importantly;needs to improve and enrich the form of education,enhance the vividness,interest and attraction of education,and improve the education's vividness,interest and attraction;and needs to educate the students in their learning life frequently;it is necessary to strengthen the co-ordination of the new education and further protruding the hospital role of the important organizer;it also needs to emphasize the unity of collectiveness and individuality in the new education and enhance the effectiveness of education;it is necessary to take measures to strengthen the communication and understanding between teachers and students,to promote the education to be targeted;lastly it is necessary to use of the dual means of education and management to enhance the initiative of students participating in education.The innovation of the research is to link the ideological and political education with the entrance education of the freshmen from the perspective of ideological and political education,to discuss the actual problems existing in the entrance education of the freshmen in colleges and universities,and to put forward some countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of the freshmen's entrance education.Especially the idea of continuous education is put forward,which can solve the new and recurrent problems in freshmen.Of course,the discussion of this problem is still young and needs further study.
