For primary school teachers and parents of primary school pupils,it has been an important thing to consider and explore the cultivation of pupils' learning habits. In the process of collecting and sorting out the literatures,it is found that the tools for investigation on learning habits of pupils in China have still not been perfect and the focus of the scale is mainly on the academic improvement as a major dimension. But,encouragingly, teachers and parents have begun to raise the requirements on pupils' learning habits from these aspects: persistence, lifelong development and cultivation. Therefore,in this paper, according to the research status of pupils' learning habits, the study is conducted from three aspects:(1)preparation of questionnaires for learning habits of pupils;(2)survey of the status of pupils' learning habits;(3)experimental study on effect of group guidance in improving pupils' learning habits and academic achievement. The following conclusions are drawn:1.Six dimensions are designed in the questionnaire for learning habits of pupils: before class,in class, after class, awareness, interest and action.According to the exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis,it is shown that,as the questionnaire is well designed in structure, has good reliability and validity and meets the measurement standards,it can be used as an effective assessment tool for pupils' learning habits.2.The overall development of learning habits of pupils in Chongqing is above the middle level.(1)There are significant differences in these dimensions: gender, class leaders, grade,Chinese achievement and math achievement.(2)There is no significant difference in these dimensions: whether he/she is the only child in family and English achievement.3.Group guidance for learning habits has played an effective role in improving learning habits of pupils, but its effect on intervention of action and interest is not satisfactory, which still needs further improvement.4.Group guidance for learning habits has a certain effect on the improvement of academic achievements of pupils.
