School reform is becoming a new routine in the daily practice of China.In recent years,the construction of school characteristics has become a new hot spot for the school to cultivate the characteristics of the school and to seek the differentiation strategy.With the continuous improvement of school reform,the establishment of the school characteristics has gradually become the important way to improve principals'leadership in reform.At the same time,it promotes the individual growth of teachers and students,and promotes the development of different schools.However,due to the one-sided understanding or utilitarian,there are some problems in the daily teaching practice in the process of creating school characteristics.It is helpful to promote the development of the characteristics of the school by systematically arranging the experience and problems existing in the practice of the construction of school characteristics.The thesis is divided into four parts.First of all,it gives a explanation of the school characteristics,differentiates the related concepts,and makes a review on the current research situation of school characteristics,and briefly introduces the research purpose and research methods.Secondly,through the interviews of primary and secondary school principals and teachers,summarizes the experience of school characteristic construction:it activates the ecology of school change;it cultivates school personality:it improves principals' leadership in reform.Thirdly,through the literature and interviews,summarizes the misunderstandings and problems in the process of creating school characteristics:mistaking the characteristics for features;creating characteristics deliberately;the policy orientation of "one school one characteristic".Finally,to solve the problems in the construction of school characteristics,it puts forward some suggestions:reflecting the rationality of the construction of school characteristics following the policy;creating school characteristics naturally;reconstructing the relationship between the govement and the school,and reflecting the role of schools,teachers and students.
