The minimum wage standard system is a system designed to protect workers.The purpose is to further narrow the gap between the rich and the poor and to alleviate the contradiction between labor and capita l by improving the income status of low-income groups and protecting and safeguarding the rights and interests of workers.The establishment of this system is conducive to social stability and conducive to the construction of a harmonious society.Many well-known scholars use different methods and data to study the employment effect of the minimum wage standard,but both theoretical analysis and empirical research hold different perspectives.Taking domestic research as an example,these different views are mainly about differences in whether the minimum wage standard promotes employment.Domestic scholars found through research that the minimum wage standard has different employment effects on different regions and different employment groups.Therefore,the overall domestic employment effect study does not apply to the actual situation in Liaoning Province.Liaoning Province has its own unique characteristics during the period of economic transformation in recent years.There are many labor-intensive industries and it is of great practical significance to study the employment effect of the minimum wage standard in Liaoning Province.This paper takes Liaoning Province's minimum wage standard as the research object,analyzes the employment effect of Liaoning Province's minimum wage standard,and aims to provide a theoretical basis for promoting the harmonious development between Liaoning's minimum wage standard system and employment.First of all,the thesis reviews and summarizes the theoretical and empirical research on minimum wage at home and abroad,and provides theoretical support for the study of the thesis.Second ly,basic theoretical models are used to analyze the employment effect of the minimum wage standard.Thirdly,a comprehensive comparative analysis of the minimum wage and employment status in Liaoning Province is consistent with the characteristics and existing problems in Liaoning Province.After that,a basic time series analysis model was used to empirically analyze the total employment effect of the minimum wage standard in Liaoning Province and representative industries—manufacturing,construction,and mining.The empirical results show that the minimum wage standard in Liaoning province as a whole has a positive effect,but the specific impact of different industries is different.Specifically,the long-term regression equilibrium equation shows that the establishment of the minimum wage standard will result in a decrease in the number of employees in the manufacturing industry,but will increase the total number of employees in the construction and mining industries.In addition,the minimum wage standard will reduce the employment of the construction industry in the short term.The number of people in the manufacturing and mining industries increased.Finally,according to the theoretical and empirical analysis results,we put forward targeted suggestions on the minimum wage in Liaoning Province,including the establishment of the basis for the standardization of the minimum wage and the adjustment time;the establishment of the minimum wage standard for the industry or sub-industry structure;and the enforcement of the implementation of the minimum wage;Various supporting measures.
