Age of picture-reading,featured as prevalent culture of visualization,profoundly effects the Language Reading Teaching,especially to the junior middle school education.Currently,the severe tendency of shallow and entertainment of reading shows a vulgarization of classic-reading and weakens capabilities of literal comprehension,imagination and sensibility in students.The function of reading education has been degenerated gradually during the chaos reading activities.The degeneration badly frustrates the Chinese education.In this study,based on the positive influence and negative influence of Age of picture-reading to the junior middle school education.According to the existence and application of image resources in the Language Reading Teaching to junior middle school and the situation accepted by students,and teaching cases,the thesis suggested that teachers should make good use of the peculiarity of pictures to optimize the class education.Meanwhile,the overuse of pictures should be avoided.Optimums of Chinese education could be achieved via outstanding features of the courses during the picture-reading era.
