The influences on every aspect of Chinese teaching from the perspective of Chinese teaching are discussed in this thesis. Referring to various viewpoints of educational personages on this topic, we state our opinion that picture-reading and article-reading should be kept efficiently in Chinese teaching and analyze the reasons in detail. In addition to this, some implementation strategies and potential problems are also contained. The purpose is to arouse students'interests in reading articles by not only the combination and mutual effects of picture-reading and article-reading, but also the focus on article-reading in Picture-Reading Age, and is to help students interpret the text.This thesis consists of four parts. In the first part, the coming of Picture-Reading Age is mainly discussed, including its influences on textbooks, students and teachers in Chinese teaching. The backgrounds and current situation of the thesis are also explained. In the second part, with the influences that Picture-Reading Age brings about to Chinese teaching, different opinions on the theme of picture-reading and article-reading in teaching of several concerned personages are enumerated. And, our own viewpoints in it are that the combination of pictures and articles, whose internal tensions have to be kept efficiently, should be adopted in present Chinese teaching; in order to achieve this efficiency, picture-reading is required to serve for article-reading within the center of Chinese teaching-article-reading, as this combination simultaneously takes effect. The contents in the third part are our reasons targeted at the main points in this article and analyzed thoroughly. In the last part, we put forward some implementation strategies with combination of teaching practice and illuminate them by plenty of examples, aiming at how to keep the efficiency of the internal tensions of picture-reading and article-reading in Chinese teaching. Beyond that, our own perspectives on the problems easily exposed in process are raised.
