At present,society advocates "nationwide reading",and reading plays an irreplaceable role in the development of human life and society.With the rapid development of economy and technology,the mathematics reading become more and more important in the information and digital society.The mathematics reading has the particularity of abstraction,rigor and flexibility,it is helpful to cultivate students’ self-learning ability and improve their language proficiency and communication skills.Good mathematics reading ability is beneficial to the cultivation of students’ data analysis concept,reasoning ability,and improve students’ mathematical literacy.This essay mainly adopts the following methods: one is to summarize common mathematical reading problems with literature research method,and to analyze the reason;two is to understanding the existence of low grade primary school students in mathematics reading problems through interviews,and to interview teacher for make supplement;three is to test and analyze three lower grade students in primary school,that the main content is divided into text,pictures,graphs and symbol topics,to analyzes the problems existing in mathematics reading and carries out countermeasure research.The paper first according to the review of the elementary school lower grade math problem has carried on the classification,problems that exist in the text,pictures,graphs and symbol topics reading.Secondly,through the test and the interview analysis the elementary school lower grade students in the understanding of mathematical information reading,mathematics,mathematics language translation and the reason for the mathematical information organization ability,find the problem of breach,the countermeasure is put forward to lay the good foundation for the next step.Finally,according to the problems existing in the different mathematics reading types,the author puts forward the operable countermeasures.This paper argues that mathematics reading should always carry out students’ learning,combined with the specific theory to analysis the practice of mathematics reading and the integration of teaching strategy,on the basis of the combination of theory and practice of induces the plan.This essay according to analyze the reasons about the existing problems,that in mathematics reading in low grade students in primary school,and put forward the corresponding countermeasures,in order to help the primary school teachers in mathematics teaching,it provides reference for the teaching of mathematics reading for junior students in elementary school.
