Newton's second law of motion is a core knowledge of the senior school Physics system.It is the foundation of subsequent Mechanics knowledge for learners,and also is the starting point of an analyzing Mechanics and Electromagnetism complex issues in the senior school Physics,so Newton's second law has basic and leading position in the senior school Physics system.Learning from senior school Physics teaching practice,many difficulties exist within the students who are studying and applying Newton's second law of motion,and the difficulties obstruct students learning Newton's second law smoothly.This Thesis based on Student Standard,researches the learning difficulties and causes of difficulties of Newton's second law from students' learning to teachers' teaching,and studies the overcoming strategies for the difficulties.The overcoming strategies can provide teaching references for improving quality of Newton's second law of motion teaching,and help learners mastering Newton's second law smoothly,and then lay the foundation of subsequent Physics learning.The primary methods of this Thesis are documents study,questionnaire survey and interview,and this Thesis based on student standard has studied the difficulties and causes exist in learning basics(knowledge basics,issue solving abilities and post-class work),experiment abilities and knowledge applications of students who have learned Newton's second law.This Thesis aiming at those difficulties,from the perspectives of students' learning to teachers' teaching,provides the overcoming strategies.Combined with theories and practices,the primary learning and applying difficulties are those.1.Lack of learning basics.The reason would be differences of knowledge existing in senior between junior physics,junior physics knowledge making students have fuzzy cognitive,lacking of basic knowledge of mathematics,moredifficulties within work,recitation study methods making students use knowledge incorrectly.2.Lack of abilities of experiment.The reason would be having shortage of knowledge and operating abilities for experiment,not performing well during the experiment operations,lacking of experiment teaching time.3.Lack of knowledge applying abilities.The reason would be having shortage of applying abilities for comprehensive application,ideologies and methods of senior physics,lacking of using math tools,and the ideologies,methods and knowledge presentation form having differences between the senior and junior physics.This Thesis has studied the overcoming strategies,and the strategies are those.1.Overcome Lack of learning basics.The strategies would be fixing the fuzzy cognitive of students,supplying math basic knowledge for students before the physics knowledge teaching,encouraging students to preview math basic knowledge,avoiding to set comprehensive work for students,allowing student to selectively abandon too-hard work,and increasing difficulties of work appropriately when students mastered knowledge skillfully.2.Overcome Lack of abilities of experiment.The strategies would be executing experiment teaching effectively,and designing multiple experiment schemes.3.Overcome Lack of knowledge applying abilities.The strategies would be teaching ideologies and methods of senior physics based on the basic knowledge of mathematics,implying to introduce life materials to the class via Advance Organizer Strategies,guiding students to use knowledge actively during the daily life,analyzing issues of dynamic mechanics via moments of objects,the critical point of teaching depending on fixing fuzzy cognitive of students during the teaching of applying of Newton's second law of motion,during the Circular motion and The law of universal gravitation teaching,emphasizing the application of Newton's second law of motion.
