China's basic education curriculum reform emphasizes the full development and utilization of curriculum resources.With the importance of picture books in children's reading development,self-made picture books have become an important curriculum resource in kindergartens.This research self-made picture book is the teacher according to the young child's experience,the interest,the independent development creates the book.Self-made picture books play an important role in children's reading interest,reading ability and healthy development of body and mind.At present,many kindergartens take self-made picture books as an important part of the garden curriculum,but the practical research on the development and application of self-made picture books in kindergartens is still in progress.But less.This study takes Gansu X Kindergarten,which has developed self-made picture books and applied the characteristic curriculum of garden,as the research object,using case study method,interview method and text analysis method.This paper probes into the present situation and existing problems of the development and application of the self-made picture books in the garden,analyzes the causes of their formation,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on this basis.The results show that the main problems in the development and application of self-made picture books are as follows: the structure of self-made picture books is not complete;the themes come from classics and lack of innovation;Teachers' study of picture books is not deep enough;teaching questioning strategies are not enough;reading teaching methods are single.The main reasons for the above problems are:the management ability and professional knowledge need to be improved;the understanding and understanding of self-made picture books is not deep enough;the knowledge and ability of making picture books is not enough;the ability of teaching activities design and organization and implementation need to be strengthened.Lack of knowledge in health field;Design and organization of teaching activities Ability to improve;lack of communication and cooperation awareness;lack of materials,shortage of funds;limited time and energy.According to the problems and reasons in the development and application of self-made picture books,the author puts forward the following six suggestions: to improve the professional level of teachers,to hire experts to train,to interpret self-made picture books,to improve the teaching strategies of self-made picture books,and to improve the teaching strategies of self-made picture books.Improve classroom effectiveness;take young children as the main body to provide independent reading time;use multiple reading teaching methods;make rational use of homemade picture books large books and small book resources;increase special funding to support the development of homemade picture books.
