As an important part of special education,education for talented people has always been concerned about the implementation of its curriculum.Life Adaptation Course is one of the general(compulsory)courses in the curriculum setting of the Mental Education School.It plays a decisive role in the development of mentally handicapped children.Over the years,schools and teachers have received varying degrees of attention.However,in reality,the implementation of the Life Adaptation Program is not satisfactory and is often criticized by various parties.The author starts from the current situation of the selected case school’s life to adapt to the implementation of the curriculum,finds problems,and then proposes solutions to the problem.He hopes to provide some references for the successful implementation of the curriculum reform based on the curriculum standards.The study took a F-school as a supplementary school in Lanzhou City,Gansu Province as the case,and the current situation of F-school life-adapting curriculum implementation as the research object,using the case study method,using the literature method,the interview method,the classroom observation method and the physical Analytical methods and other methods were used to collect data and conducted a thorough investigation and analysis of the status quo of F school life adaptation to curriculum implementation.And draw the following conclusions: F school life to adapt to the implementation of the curriculum has achieved certain results: Life-adapted curriculum of life-based education concept is recognized and accepted,teachers’ teaching methods have changed.However,there are still some problems: the degree of attention and understanding of life adapting teachers to the curriculum objectives is not high;classroom teaching follows the general education model;the development process of individualized education plans is not standardized and the implementation process is in a form;lack of life adaptability classes Full-time teachers;curriculum evaluation lacks specific criteria for the evaluation of teachers’ teaching in life and the scientific methods for assessing students’ learning effects;and the lack of guarantee conditions for life to adapt to the implementation of the curriculum.In response to the problem,the author puts forward suggestions to improve the implementation of the F-School Life Adaptation Program:(1)Life-adapted teachers should strengthen self-education and improve their understanding of the concept of life-adapted curriculum;(2)Adopt a variety of teaching methods to clarify life adaptation The nature of the curriculum;(3)Formulating effective individual education programs;(4)Improving the special education curriculum system in universities to enhance the academic background of special education teachers;(5)Improving the evaluation mechanism of life adaptation classes;(6)Strengthening the function of principals,Improve the principal’s ability to lead courses;(7)Make full use of existing curriculum resources and rationally develop new resources;(8)Improve home-school co-education and increase social and parent support for special education.
