The implementation of the diagnostic chemical exercise effectively is the premise of the personalized teaching.To analyse the obstacles students encounter accurately will give support to the specific teaching for them.The diagnostic system of exercise,established on diagnostic exercise and information technology,which offer quick access to the exercise,can lighten teacher's workload.In the past literature,the researches focus on the remedial teaching after the diagnose,exercise recommendation to students according to the knowledge point,or the analyzing of the rate of student's mastery.In the researches the level of the interviews should correspond to the level that test requires.The result that the student's level is lower or higher than that test requires will lead that the test can not progress or has invalid result.In this study,a diagnostic system of exercise is established in theory which is suitable for the students of different levels.With the assistance of computer and database,the system can do the management of clients and exercises.According to the difficulty a teacher sets,it gives students a pretest,and then it gives a post-test based on the result the pretest.In the analyse of the result,feedback will be offer to the teacher and students by labeling the relevant exercise,in which there are some suggestion for teacher and the problems students have got.In the application test,the author edited diagnostic exercises by choosing a part of REDOX reaction in Senior Grade One,and labeled the knowledge point as well as the exercise level,as requested in the curriculum standards and exam outline.After the tests of three classes,the author applied the Paired-sample T test to test the results and the students' finals,showing the good correlation.The results were give to teachers and students.Based on the discussion of the feedback,the conclusion was drawn: The exercise can be used to diagnose the students in different levels;there probably are significant differences in teaching the same knowledge point between teachers of one school;the teachers from schools of different levels should choose proper teaching contexts according to students.
